The most commonly occurring symptoms of dementia are decrease in ability to think and remember, emotional problems, problems with language, decrease in motivation. World Health Organisation’s list of top ten leading causes of deaths all over the world, Alzheimer’s and other dementias has 7th ranking. Dementia has overtaken as leading cause of death in England and Wales over heart diseases. Alzheimer’s is one of the major causes of death in the USA and it kills more than breast and prostate cancer combined.
